NRL confirms venues for Rounds 20 and 21

The NRL today confirmed the venues for the next 16 premiership games, with Mackay, Rockhampton and Redcliffe all getting a run across the 20th and 21st rounds.

Round 20 kicks off on Thursday 29 July with the Roosters and Eels facing off in Mackay, the third time the venue has hosted an NRL game after the Bulldogs played there in 2012-13. Friday night sees a Suncorp Stadium double header feature the Tigers-Warriors and Broncos-Cowboys clashes, before a venture north to Rockhampton on Saturday with the Dragons and Rabbitohs playing at Browne Park.

Later on Saturday it's another Suncorp double, with Newcastle-Canberra and blockbuster Melbourne-Penrith games scheduled, while Sunday sees Cbus Super Stadium get its first and only run of the round, Canterbury 'hosting' Gold Coast. Cronulla-Manly rounds out the twentieth weekend of NRL for the season at Moreton Daily Stadium, Redcliffe.

Round 21 begins on the Sunshine Coast, with the Knights and Broncos the combatants on Thursday August 5. Friday night's double header is at Cbus Super Stadium on the Gold Coast - first Raiders-Dragons at 6pm followed by Parramatta-Souths at 8pm.

Saturday sees the second triple header of the 2021 season - again at Suncorp (after Magic Round). At 3pm the Warriors and Cronulla face off, then Roosters v Penrith, before rivals Manly and Melbourne face off in the late game.

On Sunday, Canterbury host the Wests Tigers at Redcliffe, 2pm, before the Titans are at home to North Queensland at Cbus at 4pm.
