Anasta official, Patten out for
four weeks

NSW pivot Braith Anasta has today signed a three-year deal with the NRL's Sydney Roosters.

The Bulldogs playmaker was courted by South Sydney but will link with the Bondi Junction rugby league club from next season. Anasta has said his relationship with Roosters and NSW Origin coach Ricky Stuart was a major factor in his decision.

Meanwhile, the Bulldogs terrible year with injury has continued with fullback Luke Patten ruled out for a minimum of four weeks with torn ankle ligaments. Patten injured his ankle in the Dogs win over the New Zealand Warriors last weekend.

Bulldogs doctor Hugh Hazard told the club today that MRI scans revealed bone bruising and torn ligaments around Patten's ankle.
