Danny Buderus Returns To The Knights

Danny Buderus returns to the Knights
Saturday October 1

The Hunter Sports Group are pleased to confirm former captain Danny Buderus will return home to play his final year with the Newcastle Knights in the NRL.

Buderus signed with the Knights as a
teenager and made his debut with the Club in 1998. He has played a total of 221 games for the Knights, including the Club's premiership win in 2001.

The Knights junior made the decision to
move to England in 2009 to play with Leeds, where he has made 82 appearances for the Club in the Super League competition.

Whilst Buderus still had one year
remaining on his contract, Leeds Rhinos agreed to a release that has enabled the Hunter's favourite son to return to Newcastle for one final season in the NRL.
