NATIONAL COMPETITION FINALISTS FOUND

Auckland, New Zealand - 11 October, 2010 - After seven hard fought rounds and games played all around the country, the NZRL's new National Competition is so tight that the finalists for all three competitions have been decided by points for and against.

The Albert Baskerville Trophy Premiers finalists are Auckland who finished on 12 points with five wins and a bye, and Counties Manukau with 10 points (four wins and a bye) and a positive point's differential of +90, just piping Wellington, who finished with 10 points and +88, by only +2 and the South Island who also finished on 10 points.

In the Mark Graham Cup 17s Counties Manukau finished first with 14 points (six wins and a bye) and the second finalist Auckland finished on 10 points (four wins and a bye) with a positive points differential of +110 ahead of Wellington also on 10 points but with a points differential of -4.

The Nathan Cayless Cup 15s completes the trifecta for Counties Manukau who have finished first in this competition with 14 points (six wins and bye) a perfect record going into the finals, playing Wellington Orcas who finished on 10 points (four wins and a bye) with +132 ahead of Auckland who finished on 10 points but with a differential of +78.

All three finals games will be played at Mt Smart Stadium on Sunday October 17:
