SUNDAY sees the Skolars start their second Arriva Trains Cup campaign with a trip to National League 1 side Doncaster Dragons. The potential encounter with former Skolar PJ Solomon is now dependent on the result of the league's disciplinary committee after he was sent off in a friendly last week.

Skolars prove too slippery for Eels

SKOLARS started their warm-up for the forthcoming season with a convincing win against Pro-Plumb Essex Eels on Sunday. Whilst the likes of Doncaster and Hull KR will undoubtedly prove much sterner opposition, the game gave the new coaching team a good chance to look over many of the squad with several new faces impressing on their debuts.

Skolars Announce Major Signings

THE London Skolars have just secured three major signings which will strengthen their current squad considerably for the 2004 season. Glen O'Davis and Peter Hannan both from Australia will be joined by John Rua from New Zealand, and have all recently arrived in London. " Last year will lacked the the experience when it came to the big games, and I'm confident that the recent signing of these talented players will hold us in good stead for the season ahead " commented club chairman Hector McNeil.

Capital Challenge 2004

NEW River Stadium, home of the London Skolars, will host the Capital Challenge Rugby League tournament over the weekend of 4-6 June 2004 . The Skolars, who hosted the inaugural event last year, will host the 2004 event again, and are looking to expand the competition to 4 teams.
