Both teams are 1-17 with Matt Moylan returning for Cronulla in the only change from the sides that posted 38 points respectively seven days ago.

The Sharks hold a 50% success rate at ANZ Stadium this season having outlasted Parramatta in Round 3, while being unable to account for an Origin-depleted Rabbitohs side in Round 13. In both matches the Sharks scored 14 points.

Cronulla have won the past four meetings between the two sides, including a 22-16 win in the Shire back in Round 11.

After a slow start to 2018 the Sharks have impressed to all but ensure a top four finish. Needing to win by 62 points to overtake South Sydney into third, while facing the equally unlikely prospect of dropping down the fifth should Canterbury manage a 29-point win, the 2016 premiers look set to take on the Sydney Roosters at Allianz Stadium in the Qualifying Finals next week.

Today marks the final 80 minutes for the Bulldogs in a year that has been salvaged following a disastrous opening half. Having already parted ways with Moses Mbye and Aaron Woods prior to June 30, the Blue and Whites will farewell Matt Frawley, Greg Eastwood, Brett Morris and 200-game player Josh Morris in an effort to balance the books for years to come.

Welcome to League Unlimited’s coverage of Round 25 Sunday afternoon football between the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs and Cronulla Sharks from ANZ Stadium.
