Sharks yet to threaten the scoreboard in the second half despite some strong runs through the middle. Brisbane's outside backs causing carnage, finding plenty of metres to get the home side's sets onto strong starts.

HALF TIME - Sharks just up 7-6 at the break. Injury dramas for the Broncos with Adam Reynolds (nose) off and Payne Haas seemingly hampered by a shoulder issue.

A towering kick on the last is taken by Kotoni Staggs and the ball is thrown around but dropped eventually.

Some really great scrambling defence from Brisbane, including a big effort from Kotoni Staggs on Siosifa Talakai. Blayke Brailey now grubbers and it JUST goes dead. Broncos' seven-tackle set.

But Cronulla now throw a forward pass.

Cronulla go right but lacking the same finesse it usually plays with as Jesse Ramien's tap-on to Sione Katoa goes forward. Looks more like he dropped the pass and went forward as opposed to any intentional play.
