And Milford puts one more nail into the Knights with a field goal.

Brisbane Broncos 53-0

79

Saifiti and Josh McGuire get into it on the ground. McGuire throws an elbow, but apparently no one has seen it. The Knights get penalised.

Brisbane Broncos 52-0

78

UNSUCCESSFUL CONVERSION BRISBANE BRONCOS: Conversion attempt by Jordan Kahu unsuccessful.

Kahu lines up on the left of the field this time, but misses again.

Brisbane Broncos 52-0

78

TRY BRISBANE BRONCOS: Scored by Anthony Milford. Kick to come.

Milford has picked up his triple as well.

Brisbane Broncos 52-0

76

UNSUCCESSFUL CONVERSION BRISBANE BRONCOS: Conversion attempt by Jordan Kahu unsuccessful.

Kahu, with the kick from the sideline, attempts to take the Broncos to 50. Unfortunately he sends it wide.

Brisbane Broncos 48-0

75

TRY BRISBANE BRONCOS: Scored by Jordan Kahu. Kick to come.

Kahu has picked up his second, again with the Knights left edge defence causing issues. Poor Sims must be frustrated...

Brisbane Broncos 48-0

75

The Knights drop out, and the Broncos start another set.

Brisbane Broncos 44-0

74

The Broncos heavily on attack, looking for their millionth try of the game. Uate fields a grubber in his in goal area, and fights valiantly, but is dragged down in the in goal.

Brisbane Broncos 44-0

72

Pat Mata'utia watches a grubber come towards him, hoping for the bounce, but his fingers were crossed so hard that he knocked the ball on. The Knights' completion rate tonight has been pretty average.

Brisbane Broncos 44-0

72

SUCCESSFUL CONVERSION BRISBANE BRONCOS: Conversion attempt by Jordan Kahu successful.

Kahu converts.

Brisbane Broncos 44-0

70

TRY BRISBANE BRONCOS: Scored by Jo Ofanhengaue. Kick to come.

And now Jo Ofanhengaue has scored for the Broncos, after falling onto a Ben Hunt kick.

Try spelling that surname 5 times fast.

Brisbane Broncos 42-0

68

The Knights are hanging in well here, considering they're working from a player pool of about 12 at the moment.

Brisbane Broncos 38-0

66

@SmithsDaily: Whatever that @QLDmaroons camp was that got Milford & Napa banned from Origin is the dumbest camp ever. #FreeMilford #NRLBroncosKnights

Brisbane Broncos 38-0

67

@stuart_maurice: These referees are making Cecchin and Klien look good #NRLBroncosKnights

Brisbane Broncos 38-0

66

Well, the game has just degenerated into a pile of errors, missed tackles and referee errors. Instead, lets just highlight some amusing (and often misguided) tweets instead...

Brisbane Broncos 38-0

63

The Knights have picked up a penalty. Nicely milked from Korbin Sims...

Brisbane Broncos 38-0

61

And now another Penalty to the Broncos. I'm at an absolute loss as to what that one was for. If anyone can help out, let us know.

Brisbane Broncos 38-0

61

Nathan Ross will also not be back.

Brisbane Broncos 38-0

60

The shot from Pauli Pauli is ruled high - even though the tackled player was clearly falling.

Brisbane Broncos 38-0

59

The Knights force an error from the kick off, with Sione Mata'utia absolutely leveling Jo Ofanhengaue. Pauli Pauli coming over the top didn't help things.

Brisbane Broncos 38-0

57

SUCCESSFUL CONVERSION BRISBANE BRONCOS: Conversion attempt by Jordan Kahu successful.

Kahu adds the extras.

Brisbane Broncos 38-0

56

TRY BRISBANE BRONCOS: Scored by Ben Hunt. Kick to come.

And the Broncos continue with it - Ben Hunt just dummies and runs.

Brisbane Broncos 36-0

56

A comment from Twitter, from someone who obviously doesn't understand the modern game...
@NovoKnightsFan: Yeah yeah, they lost players, that's no excuse! A team should be as strong as their weakest member! #NRLBroncosKnights

Brisbane Broncos 32-0

55

This could get ugly in the last 25 minutes. It's a tough ask for a backline full of forwards to defend against a team boasting Boyd, Kahu, Milford, Roberts...

Brisbane Broncos 32-0

54

SUCCESSFUL CONVERSION BRISBANE BRONCOS: Conversion attempt by Jordan Kahu successful.

Kahu attempts the conversion from his own sideline, and puts it straight over the black dot. Parker, you're fired... (not really, he's on the bench)

Brisbane Broncos 32-0

54

TRY BRISBANE BRONCOS: Scored by Jordan Kahu. Kick to come.

Kahu has scored. To be fair, Roberts against Tariq Sims was an absolute mismatch. Ask Roberts to run straight and see who comes off best.

Brisbane Broncos 30-0

54

Jordan Kahu looks to have scored, after a 60 metre play from the Broncos. Roberts uses his speed to break the line, and we're going to the bunker again.

Brisbane Broncos 26-0

54

Uate makes an absolute bloody mess of the dropout, and the Broncos will get the ball.

Brisbane Broncos 26-0

52

Hodkinson kicks high on the last, but there's a collision between Jordan Kahu and Sione Mata'utia. Mata'utia has come up clutching at an injured right leg.

Is there a white towel somewhere?

Brisbane Broncos 26-0

52

It was terrible, by the way - just in case you were wondering.

Brisbane Broncos 26-0

50

Korbin Sims puts in a grubber. Why not?

Brisbane Broncos 26-0

50

The Broncos kick high on the last, and Uate attacks it and takes a great catch.

Jacob Saifiti is in one centre position, and one of the Sims boys is the other.

Brisbane Broncos 26-0

49

Josh King is about to come onto the field to make his debut - he's sitting on an empty bench at the moment. Nathan Ross has just gone up the tunnel as well.

Brisbane Broncos 26-0

Corey Parker attempts another conversion from the left wing, and again pulls it left.

Brisbane Broncos 26-0

47

TRY BRISBANE BRONCOS: Scored by Corey Oates. Kick to come.

It's a try. Jack Reed taps the ball back into play from the dead ball line, and Corey Oates picks up his triple.

Brisbane Broncos 26-0

46

Possible try to the Broncos here, we're checking on a grounding and a knock on. Good ol' bunker...

Brisbane Broncos 22-0

45

Tyler Randell is also out for the rest of the match. The Knights walking wounded at the moment.

44

Nathan Ross is down in backplay. Big trouble for the Knights trying to replace a winger.

Brisbane Broncos 22-0

40

Brisbane Broncos 22-0

38

The broncos kick the ball in behind the Knights on the last, but Ross is there to clean it up. He then cops some treatment on the ground equal to what Sims was penalised for in the first half, but no penalty is awarded.

Brisbane Broncos 22-0

38

We've just witnessed the worst scrum in the history of Rugby League. Terrible.

Brisbane Broncos 22-0

36

@russos1991: Anthony is clearly the best Milf since Stacey's Mum. #NRLBroncosKnights

Brisbane Broncos 22-0

36

36

Hodkinson turns the ball inside for Pauli Pauli, but McCullough chops him down for the second time.

Brisbane Broncos 16-0

29

28

The Broncos again kick high, this time towards Nathan Ross. Ross takes it well, but drops it cold when he attempts to accelerate into the gap.

Brisbane Broncos 16-0

Parker attempts another conversion from the same place as his first - but this time he sends it too far to the right.

Brisbane Broncos 16-0

24

TRY BRISBANE BRONCOS: Scored by Corey Oates. Kick to come.

The Broncos kill a two man overlap on the left edge, but it doesn't matter, as they score on the next play anyway. Corey Oates picks up a double. Brilliant work from Milford again.

Brisbane Broncos 16-0

23

Terrible kick from the Knights on the last. Obviously the game plan is to put the ball out over the sideline, but not on the full Mr Hodkinson.

Brisbane Broncos 12-0

23

Massive contact on David Bhana for the Knights. He bounces back up and looks for more.

Brisbane Broncos 12-0

22

The Broncos kick deep on the last. Gagai is forced to bring the ball out from his own line and loses it, but the Broncos are penalised for stripping the ball. Looked like Gagai just dropped it though...

21

SUCCESSFUL CONVERSION BRISBANE BRONCOS: Conversion attempt by Corey Parker successful.

Corey Parker converts the try.

Brisbane Broncos 12-0

20

TRY BRISBANE BRONCOS: Scored by Anthony Milford. Kick to come.

It's a try. Milford picks up a reward for his brilliant break, and takes the Broncos to 10 in front.

Brisbane Broncos 10-0

19

Milford runs left, makes a break, and then a series of flick passes see the Broncos within 1 metre of the try line. On the next play we're going to the bunker to check on a try to Milford. Just checking for a possible double movement.

With a blow of a whistle, we're underway. The Broncos will have first use of the football.

Punters pretty heavily betting on the Knights in the lead up to the game... Not really. No one is giving the Knights a snowball's. We'll see if they were right in about 90 minutes.

Welcome to Suncorp Stadium this evening for tonights meeting between the Brisbane Broncos and the Newcastle Knights.

The Knights will start as heavy underdogs, although their performances have improved in recent weeks. It's hard to go past the Broncos in this one - so far in 2016 they have been one of the powerhouses of the competition.

The Brisbane Broncos will run out with an unchanged side from the one named on Tuesday afternoon.

The Knights have made two changes, with lock Jeremy Smith ruled out through injury. David Bhana will start at lock in his place, while Will Pearsall will be replaced on the bench by debutant Josh King.
