79

TRY CANTERBURY-BANKSTOWN BULLDOGS: Scored by Sam Perrett. Kick to come.

Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs 30-22

78

Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs 26-22

71

Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs 26-22

68

Rankin goes dangerously close to knocking on. A low and slow bouncing kick comes off his leg and almost comes off his hands. Bulldogs players were there to pick up the ball if it were to be loose.

Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs 26-22

67

The Tigers do recover for now. This big Bulldogs pack might ware them down sooner rather than later.

Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs 26-22

66

The Bulldogs through Reynolds kick deep and get multiple defenders on the Wests wingers trying to take hit ups.

Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs 26-22

65

Play is stopped because Lichaa has an issue with his fingers/wrist. It bent awkwardly. We're back underway.

Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs 26-22

He's on tonight.

Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs 26-22

63

Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs 24-22

62

Wests Tigers 22-20

60

UNSUCCESSFUL CONVERSION CANTERBURY-BANKSTOWN BULLDOGS: Conversion attempt by Moses Mbye unsuccessful.

From the left touchline Mbye gives a solid strike but just angles to the right of the posts.

Wests Tigers 22-20

58

TRY CANTERBURY-BANKSTOWN BULLDOGS: Scored by Brett Morris. Kick to come.

Wests Tigers 22-20

58

Brooks took the line on about 30m out and his late pass goes to ground. Williams picks up the ball.

54

Wests Tigers 22-16

53

Wests Tigers 22-16

46

UNFORCED ERROR WESTS TIGERS: Jordan Rankin makes an unforced error.

Bombed try! Simona has open pastures and runs 50m out of his own half on the right edge. He kicks in field to where Rankin and Liddle were ahead. Rankin is first to the ball but knocks the ball on just 20m metres from the line with no defenders ahead.

Wests Tigers 22-16

From 10m to the left of the posts the converts.

Likwise for the Bulldogs. They go the length of the field on a seven tackle set. Eastwood from 30m out plays the 5/8 role and passes long for Brett Morris. Morris is placed in the clear, runs for the line, attracts Rankin and feeds the ball to the supporting Mbye for a try on the left edge.

The Tigers go the length of the field on the resulting seven tackle set and Brooks' grubber from 15m out trickles over the dead ball line.

Sloppy start for the Dogs, forwards can't get the home side out of their own half.

0 all

Great set from the Tigers, nothing fancy but Brooks kicks high on fourth tackle just 40m out from the Bulldogs line.

Tigers receive the kick off.

Bulldogs are coming out to the home crowd, led by James Graham. It looks like a rather good crowd for the game. We're all ready for kick off.

The Wests Tigers are running onto ANZ Stadium now. Rain around Sydney in the last five minutes has made the playing surface slippery.

Welcome Wests Tigers and Bulldogs fans. Only the dedicated follow their team through split round football and teams without origin stars. It's for these reasons the Bulldogs are heavily favoured to win tonight. It's a big and experienced Bulldogs side that if they take the game seriously, should be able to do as they will with the Tigers. Although Tigers fans the Bulldogs too often are inconsistent and the outside backs could tire the Canterbury forwards. Kick off not too far away.
