After dominating recent seasons with three consecutive minor premierships, the Sydney Roosters will be out to thwart the Broncos hopes of a top four finish. Coach Trent Robinson has made a number of changes in response to the 37-12 loss endured last Saturday to Cronulla, with Joey Manu coming into the squad in place of Shaun Kenny-Dowall, while former Brisbane junior Mitchell Frei and debutant Nat Butcher come into the squad in place of the injured Boyd Cordner and Sio Siua Taukeiaho.

In his final regular season appearance at Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane captain Corey Parker will play his 345th game for the club in an otherwise unchanged line-up.

Crossing paths just five weeks ago, Brisbane will be looking to make amends for a poor showing in Sydney, while the Roosters will be looking to replicate their strong showing in the 32-16 win to finish 2016 on a positive note.

In the final round of the regular season, the Broncos will be looking to secure fourth place with a win, while the Roosters will have their sights set on continuing their strong late season form after a disappointing start to 2016.

Welcome to League Unlimited’s coverage of Round 26 Thursday Night Football between the Brisbane Broncos and Sydney Roosters from Suncorp Stadium.
