3. Matt Frawley

Came on after fullback Abbey was removed with concussion and led the Bulldogs out of the darkness. Brilliant individual try just after the break and an even better assist for Josh Morris, together with a much better kicking game than the 'Dogs would be used to.

2. Josh Jackson

Enforcer. Kept the 'Dogs in it often when the Knights looked likely. Forced a few errors and toiled hard as always.

1. Sione Mata'utia

Never gave up. In fact, the entire Knights 17 didn't, but Sione was in everything and nearly scored a potentially equalising try. Gagai an honourable mention.
