Judiciary Charge Sheet - NRL Round 2

The full charge sheet is out for NRL Round 2, with much less fanfare and no big suspensions...

Dale Finucane (Storm) and Jeremy Hawkins (Raiders) are facing time on the sidelines for their indiscretions at the weekend, while all other players charged will escape suspension with an early guilty plea, including Beau Scott (Knights) who escapes suspension by just two points after his carryovers are added.

The other players charged were Michael Ennis (Sharks), Tom Symonds (Roosters), Jarrad Kennedy (Raiders), Luke Bateman (Raiders) and Heath L'Estrange (Dragons).

UPDATE - Storm to challenge Finucane charge

Melbourne Storm has pleaded not guilty and will contest forward Dale Finucane's charge from the Club's Round 2 meeting with Manly.

Finucane yesterday was charged by the NRL's Match Review Committee for making dangerous contact with Sea Eagles winger Peta Hiku.

Be there when Storm take on the Sharks, Saturday 21 March from 7:30pm at AAMI Park.

The judiciary hearing will be held at Rugby League Central, Moore Park on Wednesday 18 March from 6pm.

In other news, young forward Nelson Asofa-Solomona has accepted a one match ban for his dangerous contact charge made in the Thunderbolts' NYC Cup meeting with Manly on Saturday evening.

Storm will play their first home game of the season on Saturday night at AAMI Park against the Sharks from 7:30pm.
