In the Spotlight - Round 6

Bonjour, g'day, greetings, howdy. A warm-as-toast welcome to round number six of In The Spotlight.

I've had a few enquiries regarding my availability as a motivational speaker, and it's not hard to see why.

Let's get into a quick summary of my motivational abilities:

Paul MacGregor: Thrown to the savage wolves of ITS, the folically-challenged 'Mary' has since inspired the Dragons to three straight wins, displaying some of the greatest defence known to mankind.

Jonathon Thurston: The great JT has been in sparkling form, despite having the imprint of Beau Scott's shoulder permanently embedded into his scone. As a particular scholar* once said, "The way he's kicking, you'd hate to be his dog".
I don't remember the bloke's name.

Ricky Stuart: How bad were Canberra going. It's bad enough that the players had been robbed of their weekly post-game lime milk bath. It's bad enough that the only people turning up to GIO Stadium were paid to be there. But as soon as the Spotlight got involved, the Green Machine's fortunes changed in a hurry. Yep, their big win over Manly was all down to me.*
* No it wasn't.

As for this week's subjects, well that is a genuine noodle-scratcher.

Here. We. Go.

James Tamou:
Big bad Jimmy Ta-man-mou-ntain. A couple of years ago this bloke was eating halfbacks and rumour has it he once challenged Chuck Norris to a fight in the car park (Chuck declined). While young James showed a few glimpses of his best last round, there's plenty of improvement in a bloke who weighs in at 235 kilograms and stands at eight feet tall. Time to transform from Tamou-se to Tam-an. Was that too much of a stretch? Yeah, nah.

Trent Hodkinson:
Now throwing Trent into the deep end was difficult.I will forever have fond memories of his show-and-go in Origin II last year to score that famous series-winning try.Like the big unit mentioned above, Hodko needs to show that he's ready to help beat those pesky Maroons again. And have you ever noticed how much he looks like a cartoon character? He really does.

Look after yourselves; and each other.
