Bulldogs take early plea: Castle

The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs have today taken the early guilty plea for all charges stemming from Friday night's game against the South Sydney Rabbitohs.

In light of the interest around the contrary conduct charges Chief Executive Raelene Castle has offered the following comment:

"Referees are to be respected at all times and it is clear that the NRL have drawn a new line in the sand in relation to player engagement with Match Officials.

"James, David and Michael will emerge from this experience as better players and better leaders.

"Our focus is now on reviewing security procedures for games and working to identify those individuals responsible for the unacceptable behaviour after the game on Friday night."
