LeagueUnlimited Team of the Week - Round 9

The LeagueUnlimited Team of the Week is back again in 2015. Chosen by our Live Updaters, this team puts together the best performances of the Round, and builds a team worthy of taking on any in the NRL.

Fullback: Tuimoala Lolohea (Warriors)
An unsung hero for the victorious Warriors, Lolohea was flawless under the high ball all night and was the spark in attack whilst Johnson drifted in and out of the game.

Wing: Jason Nightingale (Dragons)
Nightingale kept the Dragons in the game. He chased hard on every kick, bravely stood his ground on defusing bombs, and was a handful every time he ran the ball.

Centre: Peta Hiku (Sea Eagles)
Some brilliant wide running from Hiku caused problems for the Knights' defence all day. He also set up a superb try for Brett Stewart.

Centre: Jarrod Croker (Raiders)
Scored a double and finished with 24 points, including 8 from 10 goals, in a solid game from the centre.

Wing: Daniel Tupou (Roosters)
Three great tries along with in excess of 100 metres should see Tupou retain his place in the NSW backline. Great footwork and ability to leap high, proved a danger all game.

Five-Eight: Jamie Soward (Panthers)
You wouldn't think it was Soward's first game back from injury this weekend. Looking like he hadn't missed a game, Soward was in the right place in attack a number of times, and seered his side around the park well in a game not friendly for halves.

Halfback: Daly Cherry-Evans (Sea Eagles)
Cherry-Evans has stepped up despite the constant, and at times negative, media attention lately. Got a four-pointer of his own and set up a couple of others, plus a 40-20.

Lock: Josh Jackson (Bulldogs)
Jackson was very strong in defence and made numerous try savers. Scored a try and maybe did enough to win himself a Blues jersey.

Second Row: Aidan Guerra (Roosters)
In his first game back from a broken jaw, the Queensland backrower was tremendous for the Roosters. Coming up with 34 tackles, he proved a real threat despite limited opportunities with the ball.

Second Row: Chris Grevsmuhl (Rabbitohs)
Got shuffled back to the interchange bench prior to the game, only to replace John Sutton early in the first half. Grevsmuhl was heavily involved, running hard and getting through a lot of work.

Prop: Andrew Fifita (Sharks)
Great work rate from the big man. Set the platform early in the match for his side and scored a freakish solo try late.

Hooker: Ben Hunt (Broncos)
Racking up an impressive array of statistics, including 3 offloads, 3 tackle busts and a couple of line break assists, Hunt was key for his side. If it wasn't for some desperate Panthers' defence, the Broncos would have scored 4 tries of the back of his creativity.

Prop: Josh Papalii (Raiders)
A powerful game from the big forward. He continues to improve and was impressive down the middle, also picking up a try.

Interchange: Billy Slater, Cooper Cronk, Blake Austin, Adam Reynolds
