Team List Tuesday - Analysis Round 18

Canberra Raiders v Newcastle Knights
GIO Stadium - Friday 7:45pm

1. Jack Wighton 2. Edrick Lee 3. Jarrod Croker 4. Sisa Waqa 5. Jordan Rapana 6. Blake Austin 7. Sam Williams 8. Paul Vaughan 9. Josh Hodgson 10. David Shillington 11. Josh Papalii 12. Iosia Soliola 13. Shaun Fensom
Interchange: 14. Kurt Baptiste 15. Jarrad Kennedy 16. Frank Paul Nuuausala 17. Shannon Boyd

Changes from Last Round
In - Kennedy Out - Leilua

Analysis - Canberra host the Knights is a rare Channel 9 game for the club. Coming off the bye the Raiders have now lost 3 in a row and will be hoping the bitter cold of a night game will help them get their season back on track. Joey Leilua's mid season switch stipulated that he was not able to line up against his former club in 2015.

Supercoach Studs - Shaun Fensom (76) returned to big minutes, however Jarrod Kennedy (DNP) has been named on the bench which usually means he will eat into Fensom's minutes. David Shillington (58) has turned back the clock since his return from injury. Iosia Soliola (63) continues to produce solid scores and can be kept in your 17 to the end.

Supercoach Duds - Jarrod Croker (34) has a huge breakeven this week, however he will surely produce some big scores on the Raiders pretty soft run home. Same can be said for Blake Austin (39) whose form in 2015 suggests he will be vital if they are to make a run.

1. Kurt Gidley 2. James McManus 3. Sione Mata'utia 4. Dane Gagai 5. Akuila Uate 6. Jarrod Mullen 7. Tyrone Roberts 8. Kade Snowden 9. Tyler Randell 10. Korbin Sims 16. Joseph Tapine 12. Tariq Sims 18. Paterika Vaivai
Interchange: 13. Jeremy Smith 14. Danny Levi 15. David Fa'alogo 17. Sam Mataora

Changes from Last Round
In - Roberts, Mullen, Snowden, Smith, Fa'longo Out - Mamo, Tuimavave, Rochow, Newton

Analysis - Newcastle meet the Raiders for the second time in a month and will be desperate to snap a 5 game losing streak. The Knights welcome back some key players in halves Jarrod Mullen and Tyrone Roberts. Enforcers Jeremy Smith and Kade Snowden also return to the line up, in what will be a pivotal game for both clubs.

Supercoach Studs - Dane Gagai (101) was explosive against his former club the Broncos and is a keeper. For those looking to getting him in, he is quite expensive this week, so keep him on the watchlist for now. Akuila Uate (76) was again damaging and could be considered as a point of difference if the Knights can find form.

Supercoach Duds - Beau Scott (3) left the field with a shoulder injury against the Broncos and will likely be rested after Origin. Robbie Rochow (24) has unfortunately been injured again and is not an option.

Penrith Panthers v Sydney Roosters
Pepper Stadium - Saturday 5:30pm

1. Dallin Watene Zelezniak 2. Waqa Blake 3. Dean Whare 4. Isaah Yeo 5. David Simmons 6. Jamie Soward 7. Peter Wallace 8. Nigel Plum 9. Apisai Koroisau 10. Regan Campbell-Gillard 11. Sika Manu 12. Bryce Cartwright 13. Elijah Taylor
Interchange: 14. Lewis Brown 15. Jeremy Latimore 16. Sam McKendry 17. Tyrone Peachey

Changes from Last Round
In - Nil Out - Nil

Analysis - Penrith are unchanged after their upset win over the Bunnies on Friday night. This match up against the Roosters will be a real test for the Penrith side as they look to make it 3 on the trot.

Supercoach Studs - Bryce Cartwright (123) put up his second 100+ score in his past 3 games and looks set for big minutes again. Cartwright on form looks to be a keeper for the run home however there is a risk that he could get inconsistent minutes, as has been the case this season. Dallin Watene-Zelezniak (61) is a great point of difference and with Matt Moylan out until Round 24, he will provide points in the #1.

Supercoach Duds - Api Koroisau (34) didn't get it all his own way against his former club but remains an option while James Segeyaro (DNP) is still on the sideline.

1. Roger Tuivasa-Sheck 2. Daniel Tupou 3. Michael Jennings 4. Blake Ferguson 5. Shaun Kenny-Dowall 6. James Maloney 7. Mitchell Pearce 8. Jared Waerea-Hargreaves 9. Jake Friend 10. Dylan Napa 17. Siosiua Taukeiaho 12. Mitchell Aubusson 13. Isaac Liu
Interchange: 14. Sam Moa 11. Boyd Cordner 16. Kane Evans 18. Jackson Hastings

Changes from Last Round
In - Nil Out - Nil

Analysis - The Roosters have 4 players backing up from State of Origin and all have been named. Aidan Guerra again moves to the bench, with Mitch Aubusson starting. This will be a danger game for the Roosters as they have a host of teams breathing down their neck for the Top 4.

Supercoach Studs - James Maloney (88) is a great buy this week and if you want him in your final squad for the run home, this is the time to move. Michael Jennings (87) has really hit some form since Origin II and was a Supercoach keeper in the past.

Supercoach Duds - Mitchell Pearce (27) has been quiet in attack over the Origin period, with James Maloney being dominant in attack in recent times. Blake Ferguson (27) is still getting used to the rigors of weekly NRL football and has been inconsistent.

Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs v Brisbane Broncos
ANZ Stadium - Saturday 7:30pm

1. Brett Morris 2. Curtis Rona 3. Josh Morris 4. Timoteo Lafai 5. Sam Perrett 6. Moses Mbye 17. Josh Reynolds 8. Aiden Tolman 9. Michael Lichaa 22. James Graham 11. Josh Jackson 12. Frank Pritchard 13. Greg Eastwood
Interchange: 14. Sam Kasiano 16. Tim Browne 10. David Klemmer 23. Shaun Lane

Changes from Last Round
In - Jackson Out - Nil

Analysis - Canterbury take on the table topping Brisbane Broncos in what promises to be the match of the round. Canterbury have named their 5 Origin players in their starting side with explosive rookie Shaun Lane named as 18th man despite picking up the Man of the Match award in their return to Belmore last start.

Supercoach Studs - Shaun Lane (98) will be the most popular trade this week, as there is a good chance that at least one of the five Origin stars may not back up. Due for an estimated $55k price rise he is a must. David Klemmer (68) has been enormous lately but James Graham may not be too far away from returning. Brett Morris (52) will be a superb buy this week should he make it through Origin ok.

Supercoach Duds - Tim Lafai (22) has yet to re-discover his form of 2014 and is not a keeper at this point. Josh Reynolds (3) has again been named on the bench.

1. Darius Boyd 2. Lachlan Maranta 3. Jack Reed 4. Jordan Kahu 5. Daniel Vidot 6. Anthony Milford 7. Ben Hunt 8. Sam Thaiday 9. Andrew McCullough 10. Adam Blair 11. Alex Glenn 12. Matt Gillett 13. Corey Parker
Interchange: 14. Jarrod Wallace 15. Mitchell Dodds 16. Corey Oates 17. Matt Parcell

Changes from Last Round
In - Vidot, Reed, Thaiday Out - Copley, Hodges, McGuire

Analysis - Coach Wayne Bennett has decided to rest Justin Hodges, but otherwise has named the rest of his Queensland contingent. The Broncos have lost Josh McGuire for the season with an achilles injury which sees Sam Thaiday move from the back row to prop. Daniel Vidot and Jack Reed return to the side replacing Dale Copley and Hodges.

Supercoach Studs - Matt Gillett (91) really moves into the frame this week, as the injury to McGuire will surely see either himself or Corey Parker (75) playing the full 80 minutes from here out. Halves Anthony Milford (72) and Ben Hunt (66) should see price drops this week due to low scores against the Storm a few weeks back.

Supercoach Duds - Josh McGuire (37) will not be returning this year and is a sell. Jordan Kahu (25) should have been moved on by now.

New Zealand Warriors v Melbourne Storm
Mt Smart Stadium - Sunday 2:00pm

1. Sam Tomkins 2. Tuimoala Lolohea 18. David Fusitua 4. Solomone Kata 21. Jonathan Wright 6. Chad Townsend 7. Shaun Johnson 17. Albert Vete 9. Nathan Friend 10. Ben Matulino 11. Bodene Thompson 15. Raymond Faitala-Mariner 13. Simon Mannering
Interchange: 14. Siliva Havili 8. Jacob Lillyman 16. Charlie Gubb 23. Sione Lousi

Changes from Last Round
In - Fusitu'a (extended bench) Out - Nil

Analysis - The Warriors thrashed the Raiders in their last match before the bye last week and were led by Golden Boot winner Shaun Johnson who has found form of late. Konrad Hurrell injured his shoulder at training earlier in the week and is in doubt. Expect the Warriors to lift against the old foes Melbourne, especially with their finals chances needing some momentum.

Supercoach Studs - Shaun Johnson (129) as mentioned has been in amazing form and is due for another huge price rise this weekend. Tui Lolohea (75) is also due for some big rises thanks to some tries against the Raiders. Bodene Thompson (79) is a keeper in your backline and is a super buy this week.

Supercoach Duds - Solomone Kata (29) has been an excellent buy but should have been moved on last week and if not can be upgraded this week. Sam Tomkins (30) hasn't had the greatest year.

1. Cameron Munster 2. Marika Koroibete 3. Will Chambers 4. Hymel Hunt 5. Richard Kennar 6. Blake Green 7. Cooper Cronk 8. Jesse Bromwich 9. Cameron Smith 17. Felise Kaufusi 11. Kevin Proctor 12. Tohu Harris 13. Dale Finucane
Interchange: 14. Ryan Hinchcliffe 15. Kenneath Bromwich 18. Nelson Asofa-Solomona 10. Tim Glasby

Changes from Last Round
In - Cronk Out - McLean

Analysis - Melbourne welcome back Cooper Cronk and have also named skipper Cameron Smith and centre Will Chambers. Melbourne go into this match as outsiders and will be heavily reliant on their Origin trio getting through Wednesday's match in one piece.

Supercoach Studs - Jesse Bromwich (75) looks to be back to his regular self and will be a must on the run home. Cameron Munster (58) has been an excellent buy since filling in for Billy Slater and is due for another price rise this week. Hymel Hunt (33) is one of the best cheapies this week.

Supercoach Duds - Will Chambers (25) was kept quiet against the Bulldogs but was not alone, Richie Kennar (25) also didn't see much action.

Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks v St. George Illawarra Dragons
Remondis Stadium - Sunday 4:00pm

1. Michael Gordon 2. Sosaia Feki 3. Gerard Beale 4. Ricky Leutele 5. Valentine Holmes 6. Jack Bird 7. Jeff Robson 8. Andrew Fifita 9. Michael Ennis 17. Sam Tagataese 11. Luke Lewis 12. Wade Graham 13. Paul Gallen
Interchange: 14. Jayson Bukuya 15. Ben Barba 16. David Fifita 20. Chris Heighington

Changes from Last Round
In -Gallen, Ennis Out - Politoni, Heighington

Analysis - The Sharks hope to welcome back club leaders Michael Ennis and Paul Gallen in the local derby. Chris Heighington is set to fight his charge at the judiciary. This game is a must win for Cronulla who will be keen to bounce back after their loss to Manly last Sunday.

Supercoach Studs - Andrew Fifita (125) dominated the last 10 minutes of the game against Manly scoring 2 tries. He remains a solid captain choice against the Dragons. Wade Graham (66) is an option as he offers cover at five-eighth and the back row.

Supercoach Duds - Jack Bird (24) didn't fire against the Eagles but no need to hit the eject button. Luke Lewis (35) couldn't maintain his high scores but is a great point of difference.

2. Justin Hunt 19. Charly Runciman 3. Euan Aitken 4. Peter Mata'utia 5. Jason Nightingale 6. Gareth Widdop 23. Drew Hutchison 8. Leeson Ah Mau 9. Mitch Rein 10. Ben Creagh 11. Will Matthews 16. Jake Marketo 13. Mike Cooper
Interchange: 14. George Rose 17. Heath L'Estrange 21. Nathan Green 24. Mark Ioane

Changes from Last Round
In - Dugan, Nightingale, Matthews, Thompson, Merrin, L'Estrange Out - Garvey, Glymin, Runciman, Page, Green

Analysis - Big changes for the Dragons with a host of stars returning. Josh Dugan returns which sees Justin Hunt deservedly keep his spot in the 17. Jason Nightingale, Joel Thompson, Will Matthews and Trent Merrin also return to the 17 in a huge boost. The Dragons need to find form quickly as they have now slumped to 4 straight losses.

Supercoach Studs -Euan Aitken (75) again went big and is now a golden ticket to a keeper in the coming weeks. Mitch Rein (68) is not as reliable as a as other hookers like Cameron Smith or Andrew McCullough for the run home.

Supercoach Duds - Gareth Widdop (45) has an enormous breakeven this week and is not a buy until the Dragons manage to find form. Popular cheapie Kit Glymin (21) picked up an injury and has been replaced by Justin Hunt (48) this week.

Gold Coast Titans v Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles
Cbus Super Stadium - Monday 7:00pm

1. David Mead 2. Anthony Don 3. James Roberts 4. Nene Macdonald 5. Kevin Gordon 6. Josh Hoffman 7. Daniel Mortimer 8. Luke Douglas 9. Chad Redman 10. Nate Myles 11. Ryan James 12. Agnatius Paasi 13. Eddy Pettybourne
Interchange: 14. Dave Taylor 20. Beau Falloon 16. Lachlan Burr 22. Nathaniel Peteru

Changes from Last Round
In - James Out - Ioane

Analysis - The Titans host the Sea Eagles on Monday Night football, which should have plenty of feeling as Daly Cherry-Evans faces the side he led down the garden path and that will not be forgotten in the lead up to this match. Ryan James returns to the starting side and James Roberts moves back to his preferred centre position after his stint at halfback against the Roosters.

Supercoach Studs - Daniel Mortimer (65) was solid against his former side the Roosters, but can be moved on for a tidy profit this week.

Supercoach Duds - James Roberts (29) was the surprise halfback choice but it didn't really work too well. Back to centre this week and hopefully back to scoring tries for owners.

1. Brett Stewart 2. Jorge Taufua 3. Jamie Lyon 4. Steve Matai 5. Tom Trbojevic 6. Kieran Foran 7. Daly Cherry-Evans 8. Jake Trbojevic 9. Matt Ballin 10. Willie Mason 11. Feleti Mateo 12. Tom Symonds 17. Ligi Sao
Interchange: 14. Luke Burgess 15. Josh Starling 19. Jayden Hodges 16. Justin Horo

Changes from Last Round
In - Horo (extended bench) Out - Nil

Analysis - Manly continued their good form with a strong win at Brookvale over the Cronulla Sharks. They will look to continue their season revival against the Titans up on the Gold Coast, where all eyes will be on that diabolical Daly Cherry-Evans.

Supercoach Studs - Daly Cherry-Evans (63) continues to perform and is a keeper for the rest of the season. Feleti Mateo (74) is on fire and can now be considered a serious buy if he continues to play big minutes. Blake Leary (DNP) is another week away and could affect Mateo's minutes.

Supercoach Duds - Tom Trbojevic (29) desperately needs to find the stripe for owners should Peta Hiku (DNP) not be a late inclusion.
