Some big changes for the home side Newcastle coming into today's clash. Kade Snowden, David Fa'alogo, Jake Mamo and Carlos Tuimavave are all OUT of the red-and-blue line up. Coming in are Akuila Uate (wing), Tyler Randell (five-eighth), Chris Houston (second-row, with Tariq Sims to play prop), while Sam Mataora, Joseph Tapine and Danny Levi coming in on the bench to fill the vacant spaces.

The Roosters have omitted Shaun Kenny-Dowall and Mitchell Pearce. Brendan Elliott replaces SKD on the wing, while Jackson Hastings will start at half for Pearce. Mitchell Aubusson goes to the bench with Sio Siua Taukeiaho to start at lock.
