Hybrid Rugby announces Mazda as naming rights sponsor

Mr. Phil Franks, Chairman of the entertainment football concept - Hybrid Rugby, today announced and welcomed Mazda as the naming rights sponsor of this exciting cross code venture.

In announcing the major sponsorship Mr. Franks said, "to have the support and a firm partnership with a highly respected company such as Mazda is significant as Hybrid Rugby moves forward from the development stage to playing our inaugural first class fixture."

Mazda's association will bring their operating ethos to Mazda Hybrid Rugby which can only add to the potential that the concept has both here in Australia and overseas."

Mark Ella, a co-founder of Mazda Hybrid Rugby in looking forward to the game said "Our team has been working extremely hard over the years to ensure the Hybrid Rugby concept comes to fruition and on this coming Sunday at Pirtek Stadium, we will see a global first as Wests Magpies Rugby League battles Randwick Rugby Union playing for the Mazda Hybrid Challenge Cup."

The Mazda Hybrid Challenge will be played at Pirtek Stadium, Parramatta on Sunday 11th October, 2015 between Wests Magpies Leagues and Randwick Rugby Union - both teams are foundation members in their respective codes.

Gates open at 1.30pm for a 3.00pm kick off. Advance tickets available through Ticketmaster or at the gate at Pirtek Stadium. (Adults $20 - Children $10).
