'Alfie' Langer left out of QLD Origin squad

Last year's shock State of Origin 3 selected Allan Langer has been left out of the Queensland squad for the series this year against New South Wales.The Brisbane Broncos veteran was the first overseas based Australasian to be selected for an origin side as he was playing over in England with Warrington Wolves in Super League.QLD Maroons' coach Wayne Bennett left the Brisbane legend out of his 22-man squad.
