ARU withdraws offer to Gasnier

The Australian Rugby Union has withdrawn its offer to rugby league star Mark Gasnier.

Gasnier had been given a deadline of 3pm today to accept the ARU's offer to switch codes which was believed to be worth around $450,000 a year plus incentives. An ARU spokesman said the offer had been withdrawn this afternoon.
