The Otahuhu Leopards drew with the Richmond Rovers 32-32 following one of the best second half comebacks you could ever see. The Rovers led at the split 32-6 after doubles to Francis Ledger and Sefo Bourke. However Leopards centre Isaako Hagaito had other plans for his team, the speedy outside back scored four tries in a brilliant second half performance. The south Auckland derby has produced somewhat of an upset with Manurewa defeating Papakura 28-14 at Leabank Park. The Marlins trailed 14-10 following a mistake ridden first half. But a very inventive and courageous last 20 minutes saw tries to Vince Fatu and an intercept runaway to Losi Vaigafa. Jeremy Hills and John Tomes have both picked up two tries for the Te Atatu Roosters in their win over East Coast Bays 32-14 at Jack Colvin Park.
