Bellamy to stay with NRL Storm: report

Melbourne coach Craig Bellamy has reportedly signed a new five-year contract to remain with the NRL premiers.

The Storm have called a press conference for Friday afternoon where it is expected they will announce Bellamy has agreed to a massive $2.5 million deal.

A News Limited website report claimed the new deal would see the NSW Origin coach stay in the Victorian capital through to the end of the 2013 season.

Bellamy, who coached the Storm to premiership success last season, was in the sights of Brisbane who were desperate to lure him back to the Broncos where he served as an assistant coach under Wayne Bennett.
