A New South Wales State of Origin player is set to be dumped from the squad following controversy surrounding a lude voice message left on the phone of a 27-year-old woman.
The Australian Rugby League have called a 3:30pm press conference where they are expected to confirm that a player ? not Anthony Minichiello ? has admitted to making the call.
Minichiello?s phone was used to make the call but it is understood another player had it at the time. The Roosters star had previously said his phone had either been lost or stolen.
LeagueUnlimited.com understands that the 3:30pm press conference by Geoff Carr will name the player and confirm that he has been dumped from the squad.
