NSW will train for the first time at the venue for Wednesday night's second State of Origin clash with Queensland when the squad takes to Telstra Stadium this afternoon.
Blues captain Andrew Johns is expected to return to training after sitting out the last 10 minutes of yesterday's session to ice a sore right calf. Lock Luke Ricketson and centre Jamie Lyon might also train after missing yesterday's session with leg injuries that aren't expected to sideline them from Origin two.
But second rower Craig Fitzgibbon will be given more time to rest as he tries to recover from a fractured eye socket in time for next week's big game.
