Bradford Name WCC Squad

Bradford coach Brian Noble has named an 18-man squad for Friday's World Club Challenge against NRL premier Penrith, with hooker Aaron Smith selected for his fourth first-grade match for the Bulls.

Smith, 21, was named to replace the retired James Lowes.

Noble brought in Leon Pryce and Karl Pratt to take over the half-back roles after losing captain Robbie Paul to ongoing problems with a broken arm suffered last year and goalkicker Paul Deacon to an eye injury.

Noble is likely to omit one of his new signings, Toa-Kohe Love or Paul Johnson, from his 18-man squad.

BRADFORD SQUAD: Withers, Reardon, Vaikona, Johnson, Kohe-Love, Hape, Vainikolo, Pryce, Pratt, Vagana, Smith, Fielden, Peacock (capt), Radford, Swann, Parker, Anderson, Langley.
