Experienced Wests Tigers fullback Brett Hodgson has extended his contract for another two years until the end of the 2008 NRL season.
Tigers coach Tim Sheens said re-signing Hodgson was an integral move for the long-term success of the joint venture club which was created in 2000.
Former NSW fullback Hodgson, 27, played for Wests (1997-99) and Parramatta (2000-03) before linking with the Tigers.
He has been a major factor in the Tigers making the finals for the first time this season.
Hodgson amassed a record personal points haul of 30 in the Tigers' 50-6 qualifying final win over North Queensland last Friday night.
The Tigers take on Brisbane in their knockout semi-final showdown at Aussie Stadium on Sunday.
