Broken hand sidelines Tahu

A broken hand is set to sideline Parramatta centre Timana Tahu until the second week of the NRL finals series. Tahu will miss Sunday's blockbuster against St George Illawarra at Oki Jubilee Stadium after x-rays revealed a small break to his right hand.

While it is still unclear just how long the NSW Origin star will be out of action, the initial prognosis is for a four-week stint on the sidelines.

Tahu joins fellow backs Matt Petersen and Wade McKinnon and front rower Michael Vella in the Eels casualty ward. In a boost for the second-placed Eels, utility Daniel Wagon will make a return against the Dragons after a two-month layoff with a shin complaint.
