Bronco Squad For Panthers Clash

Brisbane Bronco's pair Petero Civoniceva and Andrew Gee have decided against fighting high tackle charges stemming from last weekend?s loss to the St George/Illawara Dragons.

Civinoceva took a two-week suspension and Gee also plead guilty but will attempt to have the charge downgraded.

The guilty pleas come as a surprise after both players and club boss Bruno Cullen earlier claimed they would fight the charges.

Civinoceva?s spot in the starting side has been taken by returning centre Brent Tate, forcing a re-shuffle which sees Tonie Carroll move to lock, Dane Carlaw move into the second row and Corey Parker mover into the prop forward position.

Origin five-eighth Ben Ikin is also back for this weekend?s winner take all clash with the Panthers, pushing utility Casey McGuire onto the bench.

Coach Wayne Bennett named a six-man interchange bench, including talented backrower Carl Webb, rangy winger Scott Minto and utility players Scott Prince and Neville Costigan.
