Broncos name squad to play
Roosters

Broncos' international front rower, Petero Civoniceva has been chosen to start against Sydney Roosters at Aussie Stadium on Good Friday. Civoniceva missed last week's 24-12 loss to the Warriors due to a knee injury suffered in the season opener against the Cowboys.

Civoniceva's return pushes Sam Thaiday, who impressed against the Warriors, back to the interchange bench.

Brad Thorn retains his starting spot in the back row after a strong performance last week with Tonie Carroll still at least a week away from returning from injury.

Corey Parker has been chosen to start in the second row despite suffering a shoulder injury in the first half against the Warriors.

Neale Wyatt retains his place on a 5-man bench, which will be trimmed before Friday night's clash.

The Roosters are one of only three teams who have won both their matches at this early stage of the season, after beating Souths 24-12 in the first round and Penrith 28-20 last week.
