Wests Tigers forward Bryce Gibbs has been arrested and charged overnight following an incident at Sydney's Rosehill racecourse yesterday.
Gibbs was charged with a string of offences, including assaulting police and malicious damage.
Security officers at the Golden Slipper meeting on Saturday called police when a 22-year-old male refused to leave.
Gibbs was later charged with hindering, malicious damage, failing to quit a licensed premises, resisting arrest and assaulting police.
Gibbs has been granted conditional bail and is due to face Parramatta Local Court next month on 2 May.
