Buderus waits judiciary ruling

Newcastle's Danny Buderus will be sweating on the NRL match review committee's ruling this morning with the Knights hooker facing the prospect of being suspended for the rest of the finals.

Buderus reported for a lifting tackle on Manly's Michael Robertson and could miss up to five matches depending on the committee's grading. The Knights play Brisbane in a semi-final on Saturday night at Aussie Stadium where St George Illawarra meets Manly Friday night at the same venue.

The Dragons have their own concerns with Test centre Mark Gasnier suffering a corked hip. Minor premier Melbourne yesterday joined the Bulldogs in earning a week off, ending Parramatta's year with a 12-6 victory at Olympic Park.

The Bulldogs trumped Canberra on Saturday night to end the Raiders season.
