A host of NRL regulars are set for their first hit out in Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs colours this Friday night when they take on the St George-Illawarra Dragons at WIN Stadium, Wollongong.
Ben Barba, Steve Turner, Josh Morris, Trent Hodkinson, Aiden Tolman, Jamal Idris, and David Stagg will all play their first matches for the Club this year after being named in head coach Kevin Moore's starting side.
For Hodkinson and Tolman, the match will be their first in Blue and White after joining the Club this per-season.
Moore has named a 24-man squad , with the 11-man interchange bench featuring a number of players who impressed in the side's first up trial win over the Roosters at Leichhardt Oval on Saturday.
Friday night's match is set to kick off at 7pm, and will be preceded by a Toyota Cup trial match between the two Clubs.
Bulldogs Toyota Cup head coach Andy Patmore trimmed his squad down to 25 players following its narrow loss to the Roosters at Leichhardt, with all those included set to feature against the Dragons.
Included in the Toyota Cup squad are Aidan Sezer, Dale Finucane and Josh Jackson, who were impressive in NRL company in the trial against the Roosters, with Sezer to back up on the bench for the NRL fixture.
