Bulldogs in
Salary cap trouble

Last night, the Canterbury Bulldogs wrapped up the Minor Premiership with a comprehensive 28-10 victory over last year's grand finalists, the Parramatta Eels

But reports in todays Sydney Morning Herald say the Bulldogs have gone over the Salary cap by a total of $1.5 million dollars over the last two seasons. If true, that could see them receiving a heavy fine and loss of competition points.

Today, NRL boss David Gallop announced that an immediate inquiry will take place and he will be meeting Bulldogs CEO Bob Hagan on Monday.
