Bulldogs maul Broncos 46-18

In front of a 50,000 strong crowd at Suncorp Stadium, the Bulldogs have put on one of the performances of the year the defeat the Brisbane Broncos by 44 to 18.

Both sides started the match at a furious pace, exciting the Queensland crowd as the Bulldogs put on an incredible defensive display and holding out the Broncos backline in the early stages of the match.

The Bulldogs looked dangerous in attack making plenty of metres through dummy half runs whereas the Broncos were almost predictable at times in attack.

Luke Patten was controversially sin binned for pushing over Shaun Berrigan in the 21st minute, allowing the Broncos back into the match.

At half time, it was 12-all.

The second half went the way of the Bulldogs team who reigned supreme across the park, scoring seven second half tries while containing a despondent Broncos who fought hard for their 18 points.

The Bulldogs go back to the top of the ladder and continue their ten match winning streak.

Half Time An exciting first forty minutes comes to an end in front of a huge crowd. The Bulldogs can feel hard done by after Luke Patten was sin binned in what looked like a harsh by referee Tim Mander. The Broncos have had their chances but have failed to capitalise on several scoring chances the Bulldogs however have looked dangerous with the ball in hand making plenty of metres running it out of dummy half.
