Bulldogs move another game to
Gosford

The Bulldogs will relocate to Express Advocate Stadium in Gosford for the second time this season for their round 15 clash with the Canberra Raiders.

CEO Malcolm Noad has written to the club?s season ticket holders, telling them that the Royal Agricultural Society, who controls the Sydney Showground, has double booked the venue for June 19 and forced the club to re-locate the match.

It?s the second Saturday evening match to be re-located to Gosford this season after the club?s match with the Wests Tigers was moved there last month due to a problem with the ground?s surface.

The re-locations come just months after the Bulldogs found themselves in hot water over crowd behavior, but the club says moving the matches to Gosford has nothing to do with that.

It?s understood the club did not talk to the NRL about the possibility of moving the match to another day, but they did explore several options for an alternate venue, including Parramatta Stadium.

?This decision by the Club has not been taken lightly and we appreciate that some season ticket holders will be inconvenienced by the relocation of the Raiders game to Gosford,? Mr Noad told season ticket holders in a letter.

Noad says the club will play their final two home matches against Melbourne and the North Queensland Cowboys at the Showground.

He said the club would be talking with the Royal Agricultural Society during the off-season to ensure conflicts and other issues to not prevent all home matches being played at the venue next season.
