Bulldogs name squad for Sea Eagles
game

Mitsubishi Electric Bulldogs coach Steve Folkes has been forced to make several changes to this weeks team to play Manly at Brookvale Oval due to Origin commitments.

Folkes has lost Willie Mason (NSW), Mark O'Meley (NSW), Steve Price (Qld) and Willie Tonga (Qld) due to their selection in the State of Origin III next week.

Matt Utai who recently signed a three year extension with the Bulldogs has been promoted from Premier League to replace Tonga in the backline. Utai will play on the wing with Jamaal Lolesi moving to partner Ben Harris in the centres.

Brent Sherwin has recovered well from a sternum injury that saw him as a late withdrawal last weekend. Corey Hughes who filled in for Sherwin at half will move back to the interchange.

The biggest change for the Dogs will be in the frontrow where interchange forwards Dennis Scott and Roy Asotasi will replace the regular pairing of Price and O'Meley.

Reni Maitua will partner Andrew Ryan in the second row in place of Mason.

The new interchange player's are: Glen Hughes, Jamie Feeney, and Hutch Maiava.
