The Bulldogs' three State of Origin representatives have all been named for this Saturday's game against the Northern Eagles at NorthPower Stadium (7.30pm kick-off). The return of Braith Anasta, Darren Smith and Mark O'Meley, who'll meet his former club for the first time, means that Darrell Trindall, Adam Perry and Ben Harris drop back to first division. All three players were more than capable replacements during last weekend's 48-22 win over the Sharks and coach Steve Folkes says he's more than happy to face the predicament of having all but one member of the 25 man first grade squad available for selection.
"We've got a lot of players who are fit and who are in good form so competition for a spot in the top 17 is pretty intense at the moment," Folkes said. "It's a good position to be in, especially during the representative season."
Trindall and Perry will be on standby in the event of injury to the Origin players.
