Bulls 48 - Broncos 22

London Broncos coach Tony Rea refused to use his club?s off-field problems as an excuse for their 48-22 engage Super League defeat at Bradford Bulls.

The Broncos were close to going out of existence this week but Super League clubs reached agreement on a rescue package that eradicated their crippling debts.

Rea, however, had continued to train with the players as normal and after last week?s club-record 72-8 win over Wakefield Trinity Wildcats had hoped for more.

Rea said: ?I'm very disappointed but clearly Bradford are a very good side and I think they are starting to find their rhythm after a disappointing start to the season. They played really well.

?We trained well during the week and I think we showed some good signs at times but we just didn't get the job done.

?However I'm not blaming that on anything that has been going on about the club's future.?

The game was tight early on as Lesley Vainikolo and Paul Johnson went over for the home side and Solomon Haumono and Luke Dorn replied, but the Bulls began to pull away before the break.

Paul Deacon claimed two tries as well as kicking six goals and Jamie Langley, Karl Pryce, Brad Myers, Robbie Paul and Paul Johnson were also on the scoresheet. Vainikolo added his second late on.

Bulls coach Brian Noble said: ?We took some very positive steps forward, both with the ball and without it.?
