Bulls Eye

In Bulls Eye this week, Brian Noble and Lesley Vainikolo look ahead to Sunday's Tetley's Super League Round 19 game at Odsal when the Vikings travel across the Pennines to take on the Bulls.

BRIAN NOBLE:

IT?S THE THIRD TIME WE HAVE PLAYED WIDNES THIS SEASON AND BOTH THE OTHER TWO WERE VERY TOUGH. ARE YOU EXPECTING THE SAME THIS WEEKEND?

I am expecting a very tough game. The two games at the start of the year were both very difficult and showed just what a good side they are. They have had two terrific wins in recent weeks and they are looking like a team that is running high on confidence. They have two very good halves, in Dean Lawford and Julian O?Neill and they take them forward. They have also got a cracking Hooker in Shane Millard and Phil Cantillon comes on and gives him a rest before he comes back on in the second row. They have talent right across the park with strength and speed out wide and a strong go forward pack, so they will pose us a big test.

Last week?s game at Halifax gave us an opportunity to knock off some rough spots and we will need to play as well this week.

LESLEY VAINIKOLO:

WIDNES ARE PLAYING REALLY WELL AT THE MOMENT.

They are playing with a lot of confidence and they are on a good roll. They had a good win last week, as we did and they will be coming here on the back of that. Julian O?Neill has been a big buy for them. He is their navigator and gets them moving round the field. They are a very ?go forward? side and play very well with the ball in their hands.

We are playing with renewed confidence and what we need to do is concentrate on what we should be doing and if we can do that we should take the points.

TEAM NEWS:

Bulls will be without Stuart Fielden, ankle and Karl Pratt, shoulder, for the game against Widnes.
