Bulls Eye

Bulls Eye this week features Brian Noble and Paul Anderson who look ahead to Sunday's Round 18 game at Odsal when the Bulls meet the Wildcats in a game that sees Iestyn Harris make his debut for the Bulls.

BRIAN NOBLE

WAKEFIELD HAVE CONSOLIDATED VERY WELL THIS SEASON

They have and they are playing right on top of their game at the moment. They were outstanding last week against St Helens and are obviously a well coached side. They do their homework on the opposition and they have run plenty of sides very close before they got the points against Saints. Their spirit is obviously very good and they have some fine individuals. Jefferies, Domic and Solomona are very important for them, as is Gareth Ellis but they have pace and quality right through the team. Korkidas and March really take them forward and they have the pace to trouble any side.

We played well last week, continuing the improvement of late and we know we will have to do even better this week against a very good, well drilled side who play with a lot of spirit.

PAUL ANDERSON

WAKEFIELD ARE PLAYING REALLY WELL AT THE MOMENT.

They are playing with a lot of confidence and we are expecting a really tough encounter. They have a lot of guts in their side and are playing well for each other. Their spirit is obviously good and in Korkidas, Domic and Solomona they have some very experienced individuals who have brought some stability to their play. Gareth Ellis, who I played with for Yorkshire last season, is playing really well at the moment and is thriving on being the Captain. He played Stand Off last week against Saints but I don?t think it affects his game wherever he plays. He is one of those players who give 100% every week and it?s working for him at present.

We played really well last week against Castleford and we?ll have to play that well again every week now. I don?t think you will see too many scores like last week as the competition will get tighter as the season moves on. We have Wakefield this week and then Wigan, so it won?t get any easier.

TEAM NEWS;

The Bulls will lack Paul Johnson, who broke his arm against Castleford last week but will give a debut to Iestyn Harris. This is likely to be the only change to the squad that took part in the game against the Tigers.
