Bulls Star Likely to Miss World
Club Challenge

Bradford Bulls skipper Robbie Paul is almost certain to miss the World Club Challenge against Penrith Panthers on 13 February. The New Zealander's injured arm has not responded to the bone-graft operation he underwent before Christmas.

He is facing another six to eight weeks on the sidelines for the Super League champions.

"I'm at my wits end. It's incredibly frustrating," he told the League Correspondent.

"I went to see the specialist and he said there had been no improvement.

"I now have to keep it in a brace and do nothing with it for three weeks and we'll have another look then.

"But it's likely to be at least six to eight weeks until I can play."

Paul struggled back to fitness in time to play a minor bench role in October's Grand Final win over Wigan.

But his badly-broken arm has since failed to heal and he underwent further surgery before Christmas.
