Wigan Warriors were the first team to book themselves into the last four of the Challenge Cup with a convincing 28-4 win over Salford City Reds at the JJB Stadium on Friday night. Gareth Hock gave the hosts the early lead but Luke Adamson hit back for the City Reds. Pat Richards added another for Wigan as they went into the break leading 10-6. It was one-way traffic in the second half as the Warriors took control of the game. Richards completed his hat-trick with Hock adding another late on, as Wigan are now just 80-minutes away from their first appearance at Wembley for eleven years. Warrington Wolves edged past Hull KR 25-24 after golden point extra time at Craven Park. In a very tight first half Kris Whelham and Vinnie Anderson both scored tries as the teams went into the break at 6-6. Matt King Like
