Penrith punish rusty Roosters

Brisbane Broncos utility and Queensland Origin selection Tonie Carroll has been charged with a grade one dangerous throw by the National Rugby League.
The Broncos have applied for a seven-year incident free discount for the charge to ensure Carroll is available for the State of Origin opener in Brisbane on June 11. Under the discount, Carroll - named in the Queensland starting team at lock today - faces a one match ban if he contests the charge and is found guilty.
However, a guilty plea will not cost Carroll a match.
