I regularly commend the NRL and the ARL for their ability to move with the times, take on advice and listen to the players, coaches and most importantly fans. This quality stems from the working class roots of the code and will ensure the game is vibrant and relevant for another 100 years.
Clear, definable and consistent rules are good too. Which is where the game has let itself down over the years, more recently in the area of player eligibility for representative fixtures.
