Crusaders Colts will now play their first home match at the Brewery Field in Bridgend against Gateshead Storm in the Co-operative Conference National on Saturday 19th April (kick-off 2.30pm).
It was originally thought that both matches against the Storm would be played on neutral territory in the midlands to reduce travelling times for fans and players alike but the clubs agreed this week to stage their home and away matches at their regular home grounds.
The Colts, the official feeder team to Super League hopefuls Celtic Crusaders, made an excellent start to their inaugural season last Saturday as, with 16 Welshmen in the squad, they won 66-12 away at Dewsbury Celtic. The Colts have another away match, this time against Featherstone Lions, this Saturday.
