The Warriors are laughing off rumours that controversial Roosters back Chris Walker is set to join the club.

Walker has been quoted in Australia as saying he is weighing up an offer from the Warriors.

However Warriors CEO Mick Watson says there have been no discussions, negotiations or offers made to Chris Walker.

Watson says he is surprised by the rumours and has not got a clue were they have come from.

He says the first he heard was upon arrival in Sydney on Saturday.

He suspects it is just a case of lobbying from Walker's management.
