Confirmed: Dykes a Shark in 2005

Confirmation today that current Parramatta half Adam Dykes will return to his former club, Cronulla, in 2005. He has signed to a deal which will see him wear the black, white and blue for three years in a major boost for the Shire team.

Dykes first left Cronulla after 2001 - a year in which he dazzled the competition to claim the prestigious Dally M five-eighth of the year award. However, two injury riddled seasons with the Eels have seen him fall from favour with the blue and gold, with Parramatta agreeing to release him for a return to his junior club.

In other signing news, Cronulla have also secured the services of St George Illawarra lower grade centre, Beau Scott for next season. Scott joins Dykes as well as Paul Mellor, Luke Covell, Hutch Maiava and Vince Mellars as the clubs signings for 2005.
