Cowboys win but may lose Morrison

The North Queensland Cowboys have stormed home to trounce Wests Tigers 26-8 at Dairy farmers Stadium tonight.

In a low scoring first half, Matt Sing scored out wide after 32 minute for the Cowboys. Josh Hannay's previously perfect record for 2003 was blotted when he just missed the conversion.

Possession for both sides was even in the first half and following a try to Anthony Laffranchi, the Tigers grabbed a 6-4 half time lead.

The second half saw the Cowboys go from strength-to-strength and following some excellent support play, the home side ran out convincing winners.

The victory however, may have come at a major cost with news that forward Glenn Morrison was forced from the field with a suspected broken jaw.
