Canberra Raiders prop Dane Tilse has recommitted to the club for a further two seasons, extending his current deal until the end of the 2014 season.
Tilse, who joined the Raiders in 2006 was under contract until the end of 2012, however the Raiders management, coaching staff and playing group saw his extension as a key priority for the club moving forward.
Part of the Raiders Club Player Representatives (CPR), Tilse has been one of the Raiders best so far this season and was sorely missed last weekend against the Panthers with a hamstring injury which has kept him out of the team again this weekend.
Tilse said he never intended to move away from Canberra and said he was more than happy to commit to the club, despite fielding some informal offers from other teams including his former club Newcastle.
