Dave Taylor successful at NRL judiciary

iSelect Gold Coast Titans forward David Taylor has tonight won his battle in seeking a downgrade against a Grade 2 Dangerous Contact charge and will be free to play in Sunday's clash against the Parramatta Eels in Mudgee.

Taylor and iSelect Titans Coach John Cartwright attended tonight's judiciary hearing at NRL headquarters and were represented by former NRL judiciary commissioner Jim Hall.

The club was successful in having the charge downgraded to a Grade 1 Dangerous Contact charge, meaning Taylor escapes suspension.

Taylor was facing a two match suspension following the initial charge on Monday, but will now be free to play for the club this weekend.
